Lisa Hasegawa is a self-proclaimed print nerd whose favorite medium is letterpress, especially when combined with various other media, such as sewing, typewriter, and collage. Exploration and experimentation are crucial to her process, which often begins by working spontaneously, abandoning control and allowing the materials and conglomerating layers of mark making guide her. These exercises are finished pieces in themselves, but eventually inform future work.
