Lloyd uses both the wheel and rolled slabs to create functional ceramic items. As he continues to develop a style unique to him, his focus is to experiment with various methods and techniques to make beautiful, pieces, while refining skills and techniques each time. Thrown pieces reflect his background in hospitality and the use of ‘diner china’, while his slab work nods toward his training with machine tools.
