Meghan Lancaster is a textile and found object artist living and working in Tacoma, Washington. Over the past 35 years she has made art in a broad range of media, including metals, ceramics, paper and textiles, but textiles were her first love. She is especially inspired by the vast grandeur of nature, from nebulae to diatoms, and so makes work both large and small, with the occasional gallery installation.
