Tori is an assemblage and mixed-media artist whose varied work always begins with found or salvaged objects. Her background in design, sewing, and backpacking into the alpine meadows of the Pacific Northwest all influence the patterns, rhythms and textures of her art. Saving all manner of scraps and cast-off items, she intuitively gathers her materials and mingles them in new arrangements that often speak to themes of brokenness and ascendency.
