What Is Kaleidoscope?

Kaleidoscope is the opening party to kick off Tacoma Arts Month. The event is filled with music, movement, storytelling, art, and creativity for all ages. Join us for a lively afternoon of performances, art-making, and cultural celebration—all inside the community-centric Tacoma Public Library Main Branch.

This all-ages event is free and open to everyone. Come explore the talent and organizations that make Tacoma shine.

1:00–4:00 PM – Hands-On Activities & Demos (Drop-In)
  • Pop-up printmaking with Write253
  • Upcycled textile crafts with Remakery
  • Movie Monsters, props, and movie making with 1443 Films
  • Sticker making and more with Alchemy Skateboards
  • Carving as Medicine with the Tacoma Indian Center
  • Glass is in session with Hilltop Artists
  • DIY Boat Model kits with Tacoma Boat Builders

Free parking is available in the library lot and on nearby streets. ADA-accessible drop-off is located at the Tacoma Ave entrance.

This is a drop-in event! Arrive at any time between 1–4 PM and stay as long as you like
