Inspired by cubism and brutalist architecture, Robert uses layers of colorful painting and precise linework to build his abstract architecture. Exploiting the ambiguity of translating three-dimensional spaces in to two-dimensional art, elements compete against their immediate context, but resolve into a larger harmony as they traverse the artwork.
