Kaleidoscope opens Tacoma Arts Month with a free afternoon of live performances, art displays, interactive art-making, and cultural programming for all ages. Kaleidoscope is free, family-friendly, and fully accessible.

The Kaleidoscope event was a meaningful experience for me. I feel truly blessed to witness how the main library has evolved into a more colorful, diverse, and welcoming space, a place where people of all backgrounds can learn, grow, and feel safe.
Visitor's guide
Parking
Free parking is available around the library and on nearby streets. ADA-accessible drop-off is located at the Tacoma Ave entrance.
Food & Snacks
Purchase culinary delights from a food truck and coffee cart!
All Ages Welcome
Kaleidoscope is designed for families and community members of all ages. Expect interactive art activities and space to explore.
Come & Go As You Please
This is a drop-in event! Arrive at any time between 12–4 PM and stay as long as you like

Since 2002, Tacoma Arts Month has brought artists, neighbors, and communities together. This year we work towards another 25 years of creativity, connection, and culture rooted in every corner of Tacoma.
