Two years in the making and funded by a TAIP grant, this solo exhibition asks a single question: what is your hair story? Eight photographs, paired with stories from the people pictured, sit alongside blown glass by Emily Martin, ceramics by Calista Coleman, and a photograph by Stephanie Cortes. Coleman calls it a starting point for larger conversations about race, texturism, class, gender, queer identity, disability, and creative expression.
