USING THIS CALENDAR
To find events that match your interests or needs, search by date, use the Search button, or filter listings using the “Organizers” or “Tags” options.
Event listings are provided by the event organizers; please confirm all information directly with the presenting organization before attending.
This calendar is a public resource maintained by the City of Tacoma’s Arts and Cultural Vitality Division. The City maintains the right to reject event listings that do not meet the published criteria of the calendar, or discontinue calendar service all together. The City is not responsible for the accuracy of event information listed on the calendar.
Adding your event to the calendar
Anyone can add an event to this calendar – it is open year-round and free to add events.
Calendar listings must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be arts, culture, heritage, and/or science focused
- Take place within Tacoma city limits
- Be open to the public (ticketed, free, or RSVP-based)
Not sure if your event meets these criteria? Contact [email protected] before submitting.
Step 1
Complete the event submission form. Start by clicking on the ‘Add Event’ button directly above the calendar on this webpage. Follow these directions to provide your event name, date, time, location, brief description, image, and any relevant accessibility information.
If your event is recurring, submit the event as a single entry and use the recurring event option in the submission form to indicate the frequency and date range. Do not submit the same event multiple times.
If your organization is funded through Tacoma Creates and you have entered your event on the Tacoma Creates event calendar, you do not need to renter your event information on this calendar. All events on the Tacoma Creates events calendar automatically feed into this calendar.
Step 2
All submissions are reviewed by staff within 2 to 3 business days. You will receive a notification when your event is approved or if it does not meet eligibility criteria.
Step 3
Once your listing is live, you can update it at any time. If your event changes or is canceled, please update your listing so community members have accurate information.
