Mary enjoys painting scenes most people would never experience. She calls them her “intimate landscapes” - views above and below the water’s surface. Throwing charcoal with colorful splashes of paint on watercolor paper, results in her popular Tidepool series. Favorite subjects include rocks, beaches, flowers, plants, architecture, and wooden boats.
