Lucy Nilan currently makes functional, colorful, and playful home goods. Her pots bring in the joy and comforts of animals, allowing exploration of the relationship between drawing, color, and the three-dimensional form. She also dabbles in woodfiring for the unpredictability and beauty that wood ash imparts.
